- Born: Los Angeles, California, United States
- Active: 2000 - present
Biography
Los Angeles trio formed in 2000 by Eugene Goreshter, Carla Azar and Greg Edwards. Autolux fuse shoegaze, noise pop and post punk across three slow arriving albums: 'Future Perfect' (2004), 'Transit Transit' (2010) and 'Pussy's Dead' (2016), all built on Azar's distinctive drumming and vocals shared by all three members. Long gaps between records, caused by label troubles and a serious elbow injury to Azar, have only deepened the trio's cult reputation.
