Biography
Band of Susans were a New York noise rock band active from 1986 to 1996, built around guitarist Robert Poss, bassist Susan Stenger and drummer Ron Spitzer, with three interlocking guitars in most lineups. Named for the three Susans in the original band, they drew on *Rhys Chatham* and *Glenn Branca* as well as the New York underground. Their albums include 'Hope Against Hope', 'Love Agenda', 'The Word and the Flesh', 'Veil' and 'Here Comes Success'.
