Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by an overwhelming three-guitar attack, this towering debut brought intense volume and hypnotic repetition to the New York avant-rock scene. By balancing punishing waves of guitar feedback with surprisingly accessible pop melodies, the ensemble forged a deeply influential bridge between no wave dissonance and early shoegaze aesthetics.
