Ben Vince

Biography

London based saxophonist Ben Vince builds looped, layered saxophone music between free jazz and club sounds. His collaborative album 'Assimilation' (2018) and later records including 'Don't Give Your Life' and 'Street Druid' made him a distinctive voice in British experimental music. He also plays in *Housewives* and in *Data Quack* alongside *Charles Hayward*. His live performances use looping and improvisation to turn one saxophone into a complete, shifting ensemble in real time.
