Biography
American indie rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, in 1985 by former members of *Volcano Suns* and *The Embarrassment*. The quartet of Bill Goffrier, Gary Waleik, Steve Michener and Jeff Oliphant released 'Heavens' (1987) and 'Craps' (1988) on #Homestead Records# and 'Slam' (1990) on #Epic Records# before splitting. They reunited for the #Merge Records# anthology 'Supercluster' (2008) and a fourth studio album, 'Crashes on the Platinum Planet' (2012).
