Biography
Bing & Ruth is a New York post-minimalist ensemble formed in 2006 and led by composer and pianist David Moore. Its shifting chamber line-ups perform Moore's slow-building compositions for piano, clarinets, double basses, cello and tape delay, heard on 'City Lake', the acclaimed 'Tomorrow Was the Golden Age', 'No Home of the Mind' for #4AD# and the Farfisa-led 'Species' (2020), music of patience, resonance and gradual, glowing crescendos.
