Biography
Black Breath is an extreme metal band formed in Bellingham, Washington, in 2006 and later based in Seattle, fronted by Neil McAdams with drummer Jamie Byrum, bassist Elijah Nelson and guitarists Eric Wallace and, from 2012, Mark Palm. Its three albums on #Southern Lord#, 'Heavy Breathing' (2010), 'Sentenced to Life' (2012) and 'Slaves Beyond Death' (2015), fuse Swedish death metal's HM-2 guitar sound with crust punk. Nelson died in 2019, and the band later announced its return.
