Biography
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, often shortened to BRMC, is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1998 by Peter Hayes, Robert Levon Been and Nick Jago. Their music fuses garage rock, psychedelia, shoegaze and blues, heard first on 'B.R.M.C.' (2001) and 'Take Them On, On Your Own' (2003), then in a rootsier form on 'Howl' (2005). Drummer Leah Shapiro replaced Jago in 2008, completing the trio behind 'Beat the Devil's Tattoo' (2010), 'Specter at the Feast' (2013) and 'Wrong Creatures' (2018).
