Biography
Black Widow was an English rock band from Leicester, formed in 1969 from the soul group *Pesky Gee!* and among the first acts to build a stage show on occult and Satanic imagery. Fronted by Kip Trevor, with Jim Gannon, Zoot Taylor and Clive Jones, the band reached the British charts with 'Sacrifice' (1970) and its song 'Come to the Sabbat', then turned toward progressive rock on 'Black Widow' (1971) and 'Black Widow III' (1972) before splitting in 1973. A reunion ran from 2007 to 2014.
