Biography
Blake Babies was a Boston indie rock trio formed in 1986 by Juliana Hatfield, John Strohm and Freda Boner, and named by the poet *Allen Ginsberg*. The band blended jangling, sophisticated guitar pop with Hatfield's sweet voice and sharp lyrics on 'Earwig' and 'Sunburn' for #Mammoth Records#, became a college radio favourite, split in 1992, and reunited for 'God Bless the Blake Babies' in 2001.
