Biography
Bonnie Tyler is a Welsh singer renowned for her distinctively husky voice, a result of throat surgery in the 1970s. She rose to fame with her second album, 'Natural Force' (1978), which featured the global hit "It's a Heartache." Her career reached a new peak in the 1980s through her collaboration with songwriter *Jim Steinman*. This partnership produced some of rock's most epic power ballads, including "Total Eclipse of the Heart" from the chart-topping album 'Faster Than the Speed of Night' (1983) and "Holding Out for a Hero."
