Biography
Chanel Beads is the experimental pop project of New York-based musician Shane Lavers. Beginning in Seattle, the project evolved into a dynamic live trio with vocalist and guitarist *Maya Mcgrory* and violinist *Zachary Paul*. The group's sound merges hazy synthetic textures, manipulated samples, and acoustic instruments, drawing comparisons to sophisti-pop acts like *The Blue Nile* and the experimentalism of *Dean Blunt*. After gaining online traction with early singles, Chanel Beads signed to #Jagjaguwar# for their critically acclaimed 2024 debut album, 'Your Day Will Come', which established their signature blend of uncanny, dreamlike pop that is both intimate and sonically adventurous.
