Zut alors

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Zut alors' serves as the debut extended play from New York-based musician Shane Lavers under the moniker Chanel Beads. The release introduces his distinct approach to art pop, blending hypnagogic atmospheres with heavily processed, androgynous vocal deliveries and textured instrumentation. It laid the foundational aesthetic for the project's later, more widely recognized explorations of ethereal and emotionally ambiguous soundscapes.
