Confidence Man is a Brisbane electropop group formed in 2016, performing as vocalists Janet Planet and Sugar Bones with masked instrumentalists Reggie Goodchild and Clarence McGuffie. Their albums 'Confident Music for Confident People', 'Tilt' and '3AM (La La La)' mix house, rave and synth-pop with choreographed, tongue-in-cheek stagecraft that has made them a major festival draw. Their knowingly trashy, maximal pop has nonetheless earned serious critical acclaim and major award nominations in Australia and Britain.
