Biography
Connan Mockasin is a New Zealand musician from Napier whose woozy, falsetto-led psychedelia broke through with 'Forever Dolphin Love' (2011). Albums such as 'Caramel' (2013) and 'Jassbusters' (2018) on #Mexican Summer#, plus collaborations with *Charlotte Gainsbourg*, made him a cult figure and musicians' favourite. His live band and smeared, detuned guitar sound have been widely imitated across indie music, and he has also made films and released music with his father, Ade Hosford.
