Biography
Cos were a Belgian progressive band from Brussels, formed in 1974 around guitarist and flautist Daniel Schell and vocalist and oboist Pascale Son, whose wordless singing became their trademark. Their second album, 'Viva Boma' (1976), is regarded as a Canterbury influenced jazz rock masterpiece. Later records moved from the funk of 'Babel' (1978) through the new wave of 'Swiss Chalet' (1979) to the operatic 'Pasiones' (1983).
