Biography
Crack the Sky are a progressive rock band from Weirton, West Virginia, formed in 1973 around singer and songwriter John Palumbo. Their 1975 debut on #Lifesong Records# was praised by Rolling Stone but badly distributed, leaving them a cult act with a fiercely loyal Baltimore following. Revived by Palumbo in 1980, they have recorded intermittently ever since, building a catalogue of sharp, literate progressive rock.
