Biography
London dub band Creation Rebel formed in 1977 from *Prince Far I*'s backing band, becoming producer *Adrian Sherwood*'s first house band. Albums such as 'Dub From Creation', 'Starship Africa' and 'Psychotic Jonkanoo' mixed heavy bass, studio effects and science fiction imagery, helping define British dub and the #On-U Sound# label. The band ended in 1983 but reformed four decades later for 'Hostile Environment' in 2023.
