Biography
Cryptopsy are a Montreal technical death metal band formed in 1988, led since 1992 by drummer Flo Mounier. Their second album 'None So Vile' (1996), fronted by Lord Worm, is a brutal death metal landmark. After the divisive 'The Unspoken King' (2008) and a self-titled return to form in 2012, the current lineup of Mounier, guitarist Christian Donaldson, vocalist Matt McGachy and bassist Olivier Pinard released 'As Gomorrah Burns' (2023) and 'An Insatiable Violence' (2025).
