Cynic

Cynic is a pioneering American band formed in 1987, celebrated for its unique fusion of progressive metal, technical death metal, and jazz. The band's 1993 debut album, 'Focus', released via #Roadrunner Records#, is considered a landmark work that pushed the boundaries of metal with its complex musicianship and philosophical lyrics. After a long hiatus, during which members pursued other projects like *Æon Spoke* and *Gordian Knot*, Cynic reunited in 2006.
