Dag Nasty are a Washington, D.C. melodic hardcore band formed in 1985 by guitarist Brian Baker with Dave Smalley, Roger Marbury and Colin Sears. 'Can I Say' (1986) helped define melodic hardcore; Peter Cortner fronted 'Wig Out at Denko's' and 'Field Day' before the band split. The classic lineup reunited for 'Four on the Floor' (1992) and 'Minority of One' (2002) and tours intermittently today.
