Daniel Avery

Biography

Daniel Avery is an English DJ and producer from Bournemouth, Dorset. He emerged in the late 2000s under the name Stopmakingme, then broke through as Daniel Avery with 'Drone Logic' (2013) on *Erol Alkan*'s #Phantasy# label, a record that fused techno, acid and shoegaze textures. 'Song for Alpha' (2018), the ambient 'Love + Light' (2020), 'Together in Static' (2021) and 'Ultra Truth' (2022) followed, alongside a 'DJ-Kicks' mix and remixes for *The Chemical Brothers*, *Primal Scream* and others.
