Biography
Dark Buddha Rising is a Finnish band from Laitila, formed in 2007 by Vesa Ajomo, Petri Rämänen and Jukka Rämänen. Their music is psychedelic drone doom built from long repetitive riffs, chanting, keyboards and extreme volume, presented as ritual rather than songwriting. After four private press albums, #Svart Records# released 'Dakhmandal' in 2013 and #Neurot Recordings# issued 'Inversum' in 2015. The band became a trio again in 2020 and released its seventh studio album, 'Mathreyata', that year.
