Biography
David Thomas Broughton is an English folk singer and guitarist from Otley, West Yorkshire. Since 'The Complete Guide to Insufficiency' (2005) he has built songs from live loops of acoustic guitar, cheap drum machines and his own rich baritone, deliberately sabotaging performances so they never repeat exactly. Albums such as 'Outbreeding' (2011) and 'Crippling Lack' (2016) made him a cult figure in experimental folk.
