Biography
Debris' was a proto-punk trio from Chickasha, Oklahoma, formed in 1975 by Chuck Ivey, Oliver Powers and Johnny Gregg. Their lone privately pressed album, 'Static Disposal' from 1976, mixes Stooges and Beefheart influences with synthesizers and electronics, and grew from local rejection into a collector's landmark of American outsider and proto-punk rock, namechecked on the famous Nurse With Wound list.
