Biography
Der Blutharsch was the Austrian project founded in Vienna in 1996 by Albin Julius, released on his own #WKN# label. It began as a one-man dark ambient and martial industrial act, with albums such as 'The Pleasures Received in Pain' and 'The Track of the Hunted' built from historical samples and military imagery. In the 2000s it became a working band with Marthynna and Jörg Buchmüller, moving into psychedelic rock and later recording as Der Blutharsch and the Infinite Church of the Leading Hand, until Julius died in 2022.
