Biography
Dernière Volonté, French for last will, is the long-running solo project of French musician Geoffroy D, released largely through #Hau Ruck!#. Early albums such as 'Obéir et Mourir' and 'Le Feu Sacré' worked in martial industrial and dark ambient, favouring rhythm, atmosphere and historical samples. From 'Les Blessures de l'Ombre' onward the project reshaped that martial sound into sung military pop, and later records including 'Prie Pour Moi' and 'Cristal' added neofolk instrumentation. Geoffroy also records as *Position Parallèle*.
