Biography
Desaster are a blackened thrash metal band from Koblenz, Germany, formed in 1988 and named after a *Destruction* song. Led by guitarist Infernal, the band's raw, old-school attack, heard on 'A Touch of Medieval Darkness', 'Divine Blasphemies' and 'Churches Without Saints', owes more to Teutonic thrash than to Norwegian black metal, and has made them fixtures of the European underground for over three decades.
