Biography
Doopees was the fictional Japanese vocal duo of Suzi Kim and Caroline Novac, a concept created by composer Yann Tomita and voiced in part by Yumiko Ohno of *Buffalo Daughter*. Their only album, 'Doopee Time' (1995), is a space-age pop collage of exotica, steel drums, electronics and tributes to *Phil Spector* and *The Beach Boys*. The EP 'Dooits!' followed in 1996; a second album was begun but never finished.
