Biography
Dr. Strangely Strange are an Irish psychedelic folk group from Dublin, built around Tim Booth, Ivan Pawle and Tim Goulding. Close to the *Incredible String Band* and produced by Joe Boyd, they mixed folk song, harmonium, recorder and playful surreal lyrics on 'Kip of the Serenes' in 1969 and the more electric 'Heavy Petting' in 1970. After splitting in 1971, the core trio reunited many times, later joined by Joe Thoma, and returned with 'Alternative Medicine' in 1997 and 'Anti-Inflammatory' in 2025.
