Biography
British keyboard virtuoso born in Leeds in 1950, known for progressive rock solo albums and for his years in *Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel* and *10cc*. Duncan Mackay's solo debut 'Chimera' (1974) and 'Score' (1977) display fast, classically inflected piano, organ and synthesizer playing, and his keyboards also grace the early albums of *Kate Bush* plus records by *Camel*, *Budgie* and *The Alan Parsons Project*. Based again in South Africa since the 1990s, he continues to record and collaborate.
