Genghis Tron

Genghis Tron

Genghis Tron is an American experimental band known for its chaotic fusion of extreme metal, grindcore, and electronic music. Formed in 2004 as a trio, the band initially gained notoriety for their use of drum machines instead of a live drummer, releasing albums like 'Dead Mountain Mouth' and 'Board Up the House' on labels including #Crucial Blast# and #Relapse Records#. After a decade-long hiatus starting in 2010, founding members Hamilton Jordan and Michael Sochynsky returned with a new lineup, including a live drummer for the first time. Their comeback album, 'Dream Weapon', marked a significant stylistic shift towards a more atmospheric and psychedelic sound.
