Biography
New York hardcore punk band formed in 1986 and signed to #Revelation Records#. Gorilla Biscuits' self-titled EP of 1988 and their sole studio album 'Start Today' (1989) made them central figures of the youth crew and straight edge scenes, pairing speed and melody with an unusually optimistic outlook. Split in the early 1990s, the band reunited in 2005 around vocalist Anthony Civorelli, guitarist Walter Schreifels, bassist Arthur Smilios and drummer Luke Abbey, and remain an active live act whose influence far exceeds their small discography.
