Guillermo Gregorio

Biography

Argentine clarinettist, alto saxophonist and composer based first in Chicago and later in New York City. Gregorio emerged from the Buenos Aires experimental scene of the 1960s and developed a style that treats free improvisation with the rigour of modern composition. His albums for #hatART#, including 'Approximately' and 'Ellipsis', are landmarks of the meeting of jazz improvisation and the European avant-garde.
