Hail

Biography

Hail is the American art-pop duo of Bob Drake and Susanne Lewis, both formerly of *Thinking Plague*. Working through #Recommended Records#, they made a handful of albums from the late 1980s onward, including 'Turn of the Screw' and 'Kirk', in which Lewis's melodic songwriting meets Drake's intricate, sample-happy production. The duo resurfaced in 2006 with 'Hello Debris', eighteen brief songs ranging across indie rock, baroque pop and studio collage. Hail remained a side project alongside the pair's work with *Thinking Plague* and the *5uu's*.
