Biography
American singer, songwriter and one-man band from Boone County, West Virginia, born April 29, 1937 and died there on April 26, 2005. Hasil Adkins played guitar, harmonica and drums simultaneously, recording raw rockabilly songs at home from the 1950s that stayed obscure until 'Out to Hunch' appeared on #Norton Records# in the 1980s. His wild, untrained style made him a cult figure and a founding influence on psychobilly.
