Biography
His Hero Is Gone was a crust punk and sludge band from Memphis, Tennessee, active from 1995 to 1999. Todd Burdette, Carl Auge, Paul Burdette and Yannick Lorrain recorded 'Fifteen Counts of Arson' and 'Monuments to Thieves' (both 1997) and 'The Plot Sickens' (1998), a heavy, politically charged sound that helped define neocrust. Three members later formed *Tragedy*. Its records were released in small pressings and rarely promoted.
