Biography
Ibliss were a Rhineland krautrock and jazz fusion quintet active in 1971-1973, formed by percussionist Basil Hammoudi, formerly of Organisation, and drummer Andreas Hohmann, alongside Wolfgang and Norbert B眉llmeyer and Rainer B眉chel. Their percussion-driven, largely instrumental music mixed progressive rock, fusion and free jazz. With producer *Conny Plank* they recorded a single album, 'Supernova' (1972, #Spiegelei#), four long tracks that were ignored on release but later became a sought-after cult item in the krautrock canon.
