Biography
Illusion were a London progressive rock band formed in 1977 by former members of the original *Renaissance*: Jane Relf, Jim McCarty, John Hawken and Louis Cennamo, joined by John Knightsbridge and Eddie McNeill. Unable to reuse the Renaissance name, they took the title of that band's second album. Their two #Island Records# albums, 'Out of the Mist' (1977) and 'Illusion' (1978), pair folk influenced songwriting with rich keyboard led progressive rock, and the band disbanded in 1979.
