Indian Summer

Although they only existed for barely a year, Indian Summer is considered one of the most foundational and influential acts in the 90s underground "screamo" and post-hardcore movement. Known for their highly emotional, lo-fi soundscapes that seamlessly blended quiet, melodic guitar work with explosive, anguished screaming, they defined an entire subgenre. Their posthumous discography collection, Science 1994, was named by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest emo albums of all time. Their entire studio catalog was later reissued by The Numero Group as Giving Birth to Thunder.
