Insane Clown Posse

Insane Clown Posse

Formed in Detroit in 1989, Insane Clown Posse (ICP) is a pioneering horrorcore hip-hop duo consisting of Joseph Bruce (Violent J) and Joseph Utsler (Shaggy 2 Dope). Renowned for their signature clown face paint and theatrical, Faygo-drenched live performances, the group built an independent empire centered around their "Dark Carnival" mythology and platinum albums like The Great Milenko. Operating fiercely outside the mainstream industry via their Psychopathic Records label, ICP fostered one of music's most dedicated, misunderstood subcultures: the Juggalos. Their legacy endures through an extensive catalog and their legendary annual festival, the Gathering of the Juggalos.
