Biography
Joe Walsh is an American guitarist and singer born in Wichita, Kansas, who rose with the *James Gang* on songs such as 'Funk #49' before leaving in 1971. His band *Barnstorm* and subsequent solo records produced 'Rocky Mountain Way' and, on 'But Seriously, Folks...', the hit 'Life's Been Good'. Joining the *Eagles* in 1975, he hardened their sound on 'Hotel California', co-writing 'Life in the Fast Lane', and he has stayed with the band through its reunion era while continuing to record and tour under his own name.
