Biography
Jóhann Jóhannsson (1969–2018) was an Icelandic composer whose solo albums 'Englabörn' (2002) and 'Fordlandia' (2008) mixed strings and electronics, and whose film scores for 'Sicario' (2015), 'Arrival' (2016) and 'The Theory of Everything' (2014) made him one of the defining screen composers of his decade. He died in Berlin aged 48. He also directed the film 'Last and First Men', released after his death.
