Biography
Karp were a Tumwater, Washington post-hardcore trio active from 1990 to 1998, formed by high school friends Chris Smith on guitar and vocals, Jared Warren on bass and vocals, and Scott Jernigan on drums. Named for Smith's school zine, an acronym for Kill All Redneck Pricks, they fused *Melvins*-style sludge with hardcore and dark humour across three albums for #K Records# and #Kill Rock Stars#, and were later chronicled in the documentary film 'Kill All Redneck Pricks'.
