Biography
Kebnekajse is a Stockholm band formed in 1971 around guitarist Kenny HĂĄkansson, pioneers of electric Swedish folk-rock whose albums 'Kebnekajse II' and 'Kebnekajse III' set traditional fiddle tunes to heavy progressive arrangements. Disbanded in 1978, the band re-formed in 2001 under the respelled name and continues to record and tour. The group is frequently cited as Sweden's definitive folk-rock band, and its 1970s albums are collector's landmarks.
