Kevin Coleman

Biography

Nashville guitarist Kevin Coleman plays fingerstyle music rooted in Piedmont blues, Appalachian folk and the American primitive tradition, stretched toward drone, improvisation and kosmische sounds. A former guitarist in *So Badly*, he records solo for #Centripetal Force#: 'First Songs' (2018) introduced his approach, 'Imaginary Conversations' (2024) expanded it into long ensemble pieces, and 'K.C. Blues' (2026) added banjo, trombone and a loose collaborative band. His compositions take the natural world as their subject.
