Kolinda is a Hungarian folk band founded in Budapest in 1974 by IvĂĄn Lantos. A leading group of the tĂĄnchĂĄz revival, they performed Hungarian and Balkan village music on traditional instruments, recording in France for #Hexagone Records# in the late 1970s. Lantos remains the band's central figure. Their raw, village-rooted sound influenced generations of Hungarian folk musicians at home and abroad.
