Biography
Kool Keith is Keith Thornton, a Bronx rapper who co-founded Ultramagnetic MCs and made 'Critical Beatdown' (1988). As Dr. Octagon he recorded the cult classic 'Dr. Octagonecologyst' (1996) with *Dan the Automator*. Across a maze of aliases his absurdist, stream-of-consciousness rhyming has made him an underground institution. Dozens of further albums as Dr. Dooom, Black Elvis and other aliases have followed, all unmistakably his own work.
