Biography
Virginia-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Lael Neale makes minimalist, high-lonesome indie folk centred on her crystalline voice and the Omnichord she adopted in 2019. Recorded with producer Guy Blakeslee on cassette four-track, her #Sub Pop Records# debut 'Acquainted With Night' (2021) found a devoted audience, followed by the more electric 'Star Eaters Delight' (2023) and 'Altogether Stranger' (2025), which reflects on returning to Los Angeles as an outsider.
