Biography

Lagartija Nick is an experimental rock band from Granada, Spain, formed in 1987 around singer and bassist Antonio Arias and named after a *Bauhaus* song. After 'Hipnosis' and 'Inercia', they made their defining record in 1996: 'Omega', with flamenco singer *Enrique Morente*, fusing rock with the poetry of *Federico Garc铆a Lorca*. Numerous line-up changes have not slowed the band, which remains a cornerstone of Spanish alternative rock.
